Thoughtfully curated for photographers, videographers, content creators, brands, workshops, intimate events, yoga classes, wellness experiences, and creative gatherings, the space blends earthy tones, handcrafted textures, sweeping curtains, and statement architectural features to create a backdrop that feels distinctive from every angle.

From the signature arches and circular niches to the microcement finishes and carefully selected furnishings, every detail has been designed with visual storytelling in mind. The result is a versatile studio that effortlessly adapts to lifestyle campaigns, fashion editorials, beauty shoots, product photography, brand launches, podcasts, retreats, and cinematic productions.

CAN CLAY HOUSE HOST EVENTS?

Absolutely. Clay House has been designed to accommodate not only content creation, photography, and filming, but also intimate events, workshops, wellness experiences, brand activations, networking events, private dinners, and creative gatherings.

With its open-plan layout, sculptural architecture, and carefully curated interior, the space provides a distinctive setting that feels both elevated and welcoming.

To ensure Clay House is the right fit for your event, all event bookings require approval prior to confirmation. Event enquiries are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, taking into consideration factors such as guest numbers, event type, timings, catering requirements, alcohol service, music, and overall logistics.

Event pricing is listed separately from standard studio hire rates. Submitting an event booking request does not automatically confirm your reservation, and a member of our team will contact you to discuss the details before approval is granted.

EVENT HIRE INFORMATION

Clay House is available for bridal showers, baby showers, workshops, brand activations, networking events, wellness experiences, private dinners, product launches, creative gatherings, and other intimate events.

Please note that event hire is separate from standard studio hire. All event bookings require approval prior to confirmation and are subject to our event hire terms.

The space is supplied unfurnished for events, with the majority of the lifestyle furniture removed to maximise floor space and flexibility.

Available event furniture:

• Round event tables (seating up to 7 guests per table) – £25 per table
• Ivory limewash Chiavari chairs – £4 per chair
• 2 rectangular trestle tables included at no additional charge
• Microwave and kettle also included at no additional charge

Additional information:

• Minimum event booking: 4 hours
• £300 refundable damage deposit required for all event bookings
• Weekday event hours: 9:00am – 9:00pm
• Saturday event hours: 10:00am – 10:00pm
• Event overtime: £180 per hour

CLAY HOUSE – STUDIO & EVENT POLICY (MUST READ)

Security: For the safety and security of our guests, CCTV operates within the studio. Cameras can be turned away or temporarily disabled upon request where privacy is required.

Damages: Any items found to be damaged during your booking will incur a charge covering the repair or replacement cost of the item.

Microcement Floors & Surfaces: Clay House features handcrafted microcement floors, platforms, seating areas, and architectural features. Please take extra care when moving furniture, equipment, props, tables, or chairs. Heavy items must be lifted rather than dragged. Any scratches, chips, stains, or damage to the microcement surfaces may result in a repair charge.

Limewashed Walls & Architectural Features: Please take care around the studio's limewashed walls, arches, niches, and built-in seating. Marks, scratches, dents, adhesive residue, tape, or any damage requiring restoration will incur a repair fee starting from £100, depending on the extent of the damage. Nails, screws, drilling, wall fixings, or any method of attaching items to the walls are strictly prohibited unless prior written permission has been obtained from QUEST Studios.

Clothing & Colour Transfer: New, unwashed clothing, particularly dark, dyed, or non-colourfast fabrics, can transfer colour onto furniture and soft furnishings. If colour transfer occurs, a cleaning fee of approximately £150 may apply or, in severe cases, the cost of replacement.

Furniture & Styling Props: Please return all furniture, cushions, throws, chairs, and styling props to their original locations before the end of your booking. If assistance is required, please speak with a member of our team before moving large items.

No Outdoor Shoes on Furniture: Outdoor shoes must not be worn on sofas, cushions, rugs, platforms, seating areas, or other styling elements. We recommend bringing clean indoor footwear where possible.

Event Furniture: Clients hiring event furniture, including tables and chairs, are responsible for ensuring all items are returned in the same condition they were received. Any loss or damage will be chargeable.

Decorations & Restricted Items: Confetti, glitter, smoke machines, dry ice effects, open flames, wax candles, sparklers, fireworks, and any substances likely to stain or damage the microcement surfaces, furniture, or soft furnishings are strictly prohibited unless approved in writing prior to your booking.

Event Damage Deposit: All event bookings require a £300 refundable damage deposit. The deposit will be returned following a satisfactory post-event inspection, provided the space is left in good condition and no damage, excessive cleaning, missing items, or breaches of our hire terms have occurred.

Cleanliness: The studio must be left in the same condition it was found. Excessive mess, decorations left behind, food waste, spills, or additional cleaning requirements may result in a cleaning charge starting from £100.

Event Clean-Up Requirements: For event bookings, all rubbish must be securely bagged and left in the designated area, tables and chairs returned to their agreed positions, and the floor vacuumed before departure. Please ensure sufficient time is allocated within your booking to complete this. Failure to leave the space in an acceptable condition may result in additional cleaning charges and/or deductions from the £300 damage deposit.

Room Checks: Our team may conduct checks during your booking if there are reports of excessive noise, suspected rule violations, or concerns regarding the condition of the space. We will always knock before entering and provide a warning where appropriate.

End-of-Booking Inspection: A brief inspection will take place during the final minutes of your booking. Please allow sufficient time within your booking to return furniture, remove belongings, bag waste, vacuum if required, and restore the space before your booking ends. Please note that your booking period includes both setup and pack-down time.
